WHO IS THIS FOR

The Billie Coat is built for women who split their time between the resort and the backcountry — the kind of rider lapping the tram at Big White one run and bootpacking for fresh turns off SilverStar the next. The waterproof-breathable 3-layer shell and generous underarm venting mean it handles storm skiing inbounds and sweaty climbs equally well. Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right size and fit in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk gear and activity with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q1: How does Flylow sizing run — true to size, or should I size up/down (and does it accommodate a base/mid-layer)?
The Billie Coat has a Regular, true-to-size fit with room for a base and mid-layer underneath without feeling restrictive. Most riders find their usual size works well, but our team can help you dial in sizing in-store based on your layering plans.

Q2: Is this jacket warm and waterproof enough for deep Okanagan powder days at Big White or SilverStar?
Yes — the 20,000mm waterproof rating and matching 20,000g breathability handle sustained storm skiing and wet Okanagan snow, while the underarm vents keep you from overheating on a bootpack or backcountry climb.

Q3: How do I care for the Surface 3-layer fabric to maintain waterproofing and breathability?
Machine wash with a technical cleaner (avoid regular detergent), rinse thoroughly, and tumble dry on low heat to help reactivate the PFAS-free DWR coating. Periodic reproofing with a PFC-free DWR product will keep water beading off the surface rather than soaking in.
