Q1: How does Daehlie sizing run? Should I size up or down, and will it fit over a base layer?
The Winner 4.0 Pant has a regular fit, and the 4-way stretch fabric and articulated knees let it move freely. An elastic waistband with an internal drawstring lets you dial in the waist. It comes in S to XXL. It's designed to wear over a base layer, and we recommend trying it on in-store with the base layer you ski in, and your ski boots if you can, to check the length and how the hem sits over your boots.

Q2: Is this pant warm and waterproof enough for cross-country skiing at Sovereign Lake and SilverStar?
It's built for active skiing, not for standing still in the cold. The wind-resistant front and water-repellent DWR finish handle wind and dry Okanagan snow well, but the pant isn't waterproof or insulated. On cold mornings, wear a warm base layer underneath. For slower-paced or very cold outings, consider a warmer, insulated cross-country pant.

Q3: How do I care for this pant to keep it water-repellent and stretchy?
Close all zippers before washing, then machine wash at 40°C on a mild cycle with similar colours. Don't use fabric softener or bleach. Tumble dry on low, or iron warm (max 110°C) to reactivate the water-repellent DWR treatment. Don't dry clean it.
