Product details

The Blizzard Rustler 9 freeride ski is built for the days that aren't perfect powder days — the choppy, chundery, everyday conditions you'll find working the trees and bumps at Big White or lapping the groomers at Silver Star. A 96mm waist and Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile keep it nimble in tight spots while still holding a confident edge when you roll it up on the groomers.

KEY FEATURES

FluxForm construction runs two Titanal strips the length of the ski plus a Titanal plate underfoot for precise edge grip and damp stability, while letting the tip and tail flex freely

TrueBlend Freeride Woodcore blends beech, poplar, and paulownia into three distinct flex zones — softer at the tip and tail, stiffer underfoot — for a smooth, balanced feel

Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile combines tip and tail rocker with underfoot camber for easy turn initiation and reliable edge hold

Full ABS sandwich sidewall construction adds stability, power transmission, and durability

Sintered Graphite base holds wax well and glides fast across variable Okanagan snow

Partial Twin Tip shape allows for backward skiing and backing out of tight spots

WHO IS THIS FOR?

The Rustler 9 suits intermediate to advanced skiers who want one ski that handles everyday variable conditions — groomers, chop, trees, and the occasional powder day — without being a one-trick pony. Its metal-reinforced build rewards a more confident, powerful skier over a true beginner.

Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right ski and size in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

Q.What does FluxForm with Titanal actually do on the Rustler 9?
FluxForm runs two strips of Titanal the length of the ski along with a separate Titanal plate underfoot. That combination adds edge grip, power transmission, and a damp, stable feel underfoot, while leaving the tip and tail free to flex for a lighter, more playful swing weight in chop and bumps.

Q.How does the Rustler 9 compare to the Rustler 10 or Rustler 11?
The Rustler 9 has the narrowest waist in the line at 96mm, using more Titanal in its FluxForm construction than the wider Rustler 10 or 11 to keep it lively and precise on firmer snow. The 10 and 11 trade some of that quickness for extra float and stability in deeper, softer conditions.

Q.Is the Blizzard Rustler 9 a good ski for someone who mostly skis groomers but wants to explore more terrain?
Yes — its Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile and metal-reinforced core give it strong edge hold on groomers, while the rockered tip and tail add enough float and forgiveness to comfortably venture into trees, bumps, and light powder without needing a second ski.
