Product details

The Armada Whitewalker 121 is a dedicated powder ski built for the days when Big White is buried in fresh Okanagan snow and you want maximum float underfoot. Sammy Carlson's widest signature model pairs a 121mm waist with a soft, playful flex, so it's ready for pillow lines, glade hopping, and steep faces on the deepest storm days — this one's built to stay above the snow, not to carve up Silver Star's groomers.

KEY FEATURES

Freeride Rocker profile with pronounced tip and tail rocker plus positive camber underfoot, purpose-built for maximum float in deep snow

Caruba wood core — Armada's lightest wood species — for low swing weight and an easy, surfy feel in powder

Swivel Tech tip and tail construction for smooth turn initiation and reduced hookiness in soft, variable snow

AR75 sidewall construction (75% sidewall, 25% cap at tip/tail) for edge pressure without added weight

Pin Tip & Tail shape with Full Twin Tip design for a playful, freestyle-minded ride

Comp Series sintered carbon base and heat-treated Lightweight Edge for glide and durability

WHO IS THIS FOR

The Whitewalker 121 is built for advanced-to-expert skiers chasing Big White's deepest powder days, whether that's bouncing down pillow lines or floating through open glades. This is a dedicated powder ski rather than a daily driver, so it's best paired with a narrower ski for firmer conditions at Silver Star. Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right ski and size in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

WHY SHOP WITH US

As a certified Armada dealer, our team can help you select the right length, flex, and binding setup for your ability level and the terrain you ride most at Big White and Silver Star. We also offer full ski and board tuning, waxing, and binding mounting in-store. Drop into Fresh Air Pandosy (555 Groves Ave) or Fresh Air Dilworth (1656 Dilworth Drive).

FAQ

Is the Whitewalker 121 too wide for anything but deep powder?
At 121mm underfoot with a soft, powder-oriented flex (Tip 5 / Mid 7 / Tail 6), this ski is purpose-built for deep snow and isn't designed to be an everyday driver on firmer or groomed terrain — most riders pair it with a narrower all-mountain ski for mixed conditions.

What's the difference between Swivel Tech and Smear Tech on Armada skis?
Both are Armada's 3D-beveled tip and tail treatments designed to reduce catching in variable snow; Swivel Tech is used on the wider Whitewalker 121 to further ease turn initiation and pivoting in deep, soft conditions.

How much rocker does the Whitewalker 121 have compared to a standard all-mountain ski?
The Whitewalker 121 uses a Freeride Rocker profile with significantly more tip and tail rocker than an all-mountain ski, trading some edge hold on hardpack for greatly improved float and maneuverability in deep snow.
