Product details

The Armada Whitewalker 108 is a lightweight all-mountain ski built for the days when Big White isn't serving up thigh-deep blower and you need something that can handle a mix of fresh snow, chop, and firmer runs. Sammy Carlson's slimmed-down Whitewalker keeps the same charging DNA as the wider models in the line, but the narrower 108mm waist makes it quicker edge-to-edge on Silver Star's groomed cruisers while still floating confidently through Big White's tree runs when the powder shows up.

KEY FEATURES

Freeride Rocker profile (Rocker-Camber-Rocker) with more tip and tail rocker than Armada's All-MTN skis, for better handling in variable snow

Caruba wood core — one of the lightest fast-growing hardwoods, for a lively, low swing-weight feel

Smear Tech 3D beveled tip and tail base for a catch-free, self-centering ride in crud and deep snow

AR75 sidewall construction (75% sidewall, 25% cap at tip/tail) for edge hold without added weight

Comp Series sintered carbon base for speed and durability

Lightweight Edge construction, heat-treated for strength with minimal added weight

Pin Tip & Tail shape reduces swing weight and enhances soft-snow performance

WHO IS THIS FOR

The Whitewalker 108 suits intermediate-to-advanced skiers who want one ski that can charge variable Okanagan conditions without feeling like a dedicated powder board. It's a strong pick for riders who split their time between Big White's tree lines and Silver Star's groomed cruisers and want a lighter, more maneuverable feel underfoot. Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right ski and size in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

What is Freeride Rocker and how is it different from a full rocker ski?
Freeride Rocker pairs tip and tail rocker with a cambered, positive-camber underfoot section, giving the Whitewalker 108 float in soft snow while keeping strong edge hold and pop on groomers — unlike a full rocker ski, which sacrifices more edge grip for float.

Is the Whitewalker 108 stiff enough for charging at speed?
Yes — with a flex rating of Tip 7 / Mid 9 / Tail 8, the Whitewalker 108 runs stiffer underfoot than most all-mountain skis its width, giving it the stability to hold an edge at speed while still being playful in the tips and tails.

How does the Whitewalker 108 compare to the wider Whitewalker 116 or 121?
The 108 shares the same Caruba core, Smear Tech base, and AR75 sidewall construction as the wider Whitewalker models, but its narrower 108mm waist makes it quicker edge-to-edge on firmer terrain, while the 116 and 121 are built more specifically for deep powder days.
