WHY SHOP WITH US

Binding mounting and DIN setting is a safety issue, not just a setup step. FAQ

Q: How do I know if these bindings are compatible with my skis and boots?
A: The Strive 14 GW is compatible with Alpine (ISO 5355) and GripWalk (ISO 23223) boot soles — note that it does not support AT/touring (ISO 9523) soles, so if you ski on touring boots you'll want the MN version instead. It's available in 90mm, 100mm, 115mm, and 130mm brake widths to match your ski's waist width. Bring your boots and skis in-store and our team will confirm the right fit.

Q: Do I need to get these bindings mounted, or can I install them myself?
A: Bindings should always be professionally mounted — this isn't a DIY job. Our certified technicians will mount your Strive 14 GW bindings and calibrate your DIN setting to your height, weight, boot sole length, and ability level in-store at either Kelowna location.

Q: What DIN setting is right for me, and why does it matter?
A: Your DIN setting determines how much force is needed for your binding to release, balancing retention against injury risk. It's calculated from your height, weight, boot sole length, age, and ability level — not just picked based on how aggressively you ski. Our in-store technicians will set this correctly for you.
