Product details

Whether you're working on cleaner turns at Silver Star or starting to explore Big White's wider terrain, the Armada Strive 12 GW is a natural fit for skiers moving from intermediate into more advanced skiing. It borrows its low, close-to-the-snow toe design from Armada's hybrid Shift bindings, dropping weight without dropping performance, so you get better snow feel and power transmission with every turn.

WHY SHOP WITH US

Binding mounting and DIN setting is a safety issue, not just a setup step. Our certified technicians will mount your bindings and set your DIN to the appropriate range for your height, weight, boot sole length, and ability level in-store at Fresh Air Pandosy (555 Groves Ave) or Fresh Air Dilworth (1656 Dilworth Drive).

FAQ

Q.How do I know if these bindings are compatible with my boots and skis?
The Strive 12 GW is compatible with Alpine ISO 5355 and GripWalk ISO 23223 boot soles. For ski fit, Armada recommends a brake width equal to or at most 15mm wider than your ski's waist width. Bring your boots and skis into either Fresh Air location and our team will confirm the right fit before mounting.

Q.Do I need to get these bindings mounted, or can I install them myself?
Bindings should always be professionally mounted and DIN-tested — this isn't a DIY job. Our certified technicians will mount your Strive 12 GW bindings and set your DIN correctly based on your height, weight, boot sole length, and ability level at either Kelowna location.

Q.What DIN setting is right for me, and why does it matter?
Your DIN setting controls how much force it takes for your boot to release from the binding in a fall — set it too high and you risk injury from a binding that won't release; too low and you risk unwanted pre-release. It depends on your height, weight, boot sole length, age, and ability level, which is why we always set it in-store rather than by guesswork.
