Product details

The Armada Sicko snowboard is built for riders who go looking for the deepest lines at Big White rather than waiting for them to get tracked out. Its tapered directional shape shifts extra volume to the nose for added float on powder days, while the Rocker/Camber profile keeps the board locked in and stable when you're charging hard through variable Okanagan snow. The Pop-Lownia Bamboo Core and Triax/Biax glass layup give it the precision to handle steeper terrain, with Titanal Impact Plates ready to absorb whatever your line throws back at you.

FAQ

What does a tapered directional shape do for powder riding?
The nose is built wider than the tail, which shifts more volume to the front of the board. That extra front-end surface area helps the nose plane up and stay on top of deep snow, so the board surfs through powder rather than diving under it — similar to how a wider tip works on a powder ski.

Is the Armada Sicko a good choice for deep days at Big White?
Yes — it's built for exactly that. The tapered directional shape adds float in deep snow, the stiffer flex and Rocker/Camber profile keep it stable and locked in at speed, and the Titanal Impact Plates help absorb the impact of charging through variable, chopped-up terrain on a big powder day.

How does the Rocker/Camber profile on the Sicko compare to a full Rocker/Camber/Rocker board?
Rocker/Camber has rocker only in the nose, with camber running from underfoot through the tail — that gives you strong edge hold and stability on firmer snow while still floating in powder. Rocker/Camber/Rocker adds rocker in the tail too, which makes a board more playful and forgiving but usually less locked-in and stable at speed than the Sicko's setup.
