Product details

The Armada Beatnik snowboard is built for riders who want to turn every side hit, roller, and berm at Big White or Silver Star into a launch pad. This directional twin blends freestyle playfulness with all-mountain confidence, so it's just as happy boosting off natural features in Big White's terrain as it is carving groomed runs down Silver Star's long cruisers. The Pop-Lownia Core and Bamboosters keep things poppy and responsive, while Titanal Impact Plates add stability when you're charging hard through Okanagan variable snow.

WHO IS THIS FOR

The Beatnik suits intermediate to advanced riders who split their time between the park and the rest of the mountain, from boosting off side hits at Big White to linking turns down Silver Star's groomed runs. Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right ski/board and size in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

What does a Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile feel like compared to full camber?
It gives you camber underfoot for pop and edge hold, but with rockered nose and tail sections for easier turn initiation and forgiveness. Think of it as a middle ground — more playful than full camber, more locked-in than full rocker.

Is the Armada Beatnik good for park riding, or more of an all-mountain board?
Both — it's an all-mountain freestyle board. The centered directional twin shape works well in the park, while the stiffer flex and longer nose keep it stable riding the rest of the mountain at Big White or Silver Star.

How does the Armada Beatnik compare to other directional twin freestyle boards?
Its standout is the Titanal Impact Plates under the bindings — a metal reinforcement that's uncommon on boards this playful, giving it more stability at speed than most freestyle-focused directional twins without losing the pop.
