Product details

The Armada ARV 94 Black Edition is built to stomp the most creative lines on the mountain, whether that's technical steeps above Silver Star or park features and rail lines at Big White. A nearly symmetrical twin-tip shape with a Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile keeps it quick edge-to-edge, while a tough Poplar wood core and burly w3Dgewall construction let it take a beating season after season.

KEY FEATURES

100% Poplar core with Ash binding inserts for a predictable, powerful flex

Nearly symmetrical Full Twin Tip shape for easy switch riding and landings

Rocker/Camber/Rocker (AR Freestyle Rocker) profile for quick edge-to-edge response

w3Dgewall sidewall construction for a stronger, more durable core-to-sidewall bond

2.5mm Impact Edges, oversized and heat-treated to resist impact damage

S7 sintered base for durable, low-maintenance glide

WHO IS THIS FOR

The ARV 94 Black Edition suits intermediate-to-advanced skiers who spend as much time hitting park features and rails at Big White as they do carving hardpack at Silver Star. Its full twin tip and durable build make it a go-to for skiers who want to ride switch, land backwards, and take a beating without babying their skis. Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right ski and size in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

What's the difference between the ARV 94 Black Edition and the ARV 94 Madsteez?
Both share the same 94mm waist, Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile, and construction. The Black Edition runs a full twin tip shape and white-on-black graphic aimed squarely at park and pipe use, while the Madsteez leans more all-mountain with a partial twin tip and its own artwork.

Is a full twin tip ski good for all-mountain skiing, not just park?
Yes. A full twin tip makes switch landings and backward skiing easier, but it doesn't stop the ski from performing well on regular forward-facing terrain — the ARV 94 Black Edition is rated for both Park & Pipe and All-Mountain use.

How durable is the ARV 94 Black Edition for rail and rough terrain use?
Very durable. It uses the same 2.5mm oversized, heat-treated Impact Edges and w3Dgewall sidewall construction found on Armada's more aggressive freeride skis, built specifically to shrug off impact damage from rails, rocks, and repeated park abuse.
