Product details

The Armada ARV 106 Ti is built for skiers who want one ski to handle everything from Big White's deep Okanagan powder days to fast, aggressive laps on Silver Star's groomed cruisers. A 106mm waist and Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile give it float when the snow piles up and solid edge hold when conditions firm up, while a Titanal laminate adds the stability to push speed through variable Okanagan snow without getting knocked around.

KEY FEATURES

Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile with a partial twin tip for float, edge grip, and easy turn release

ATB-X Titanal laminate for a damp, poppy, freeride-oriented feel with less chatter at speed

100% Poplar wood core for predictable flex and smooth power delivery in all snow conditions

w3Dgewall 3D-molded sidewall construction for added durability and enhanced edge grip

2.5mm Impact Edges, oversized and heat-treated to resist damage in demanding terrain

S7 sintered base with speed additive for low-maintenance glide and durability

WHO IS THIS FOR

The ARV 106 Ti suits intermediate-to-advanced skiers who want a single-quiver setup that charges hard through variable snow without giving up playfulness in the park or trees. It's a strong fit for anyone splitting time between Big White powder days and Silver Star's groomed runs. Our team at Fresh Air will help you find the right ski and size in-store at both Kelowna locations. Stop by to talk with one of our experienced staff members, or call 250-763-3425.

FAQ

What does the Rocker/Camber/Rocker profile on the ARV 106 Ti actually do?
It combines a rockered tip and tail with camber underfoot. The rocker helps the ski float and initiate turns easily in Big White's deeper powder, while the cambered section underfoot gives you a longer effective edge for grip and stability when you're carving Silver Star's groomed runs.

How does the Armada ARV 106 Ti compare to the standard (non-Ti) ARV 106?
Both share the same shape, waist width, and rocker profile. The Ti version adds an ATB-X Titanal laminate, giving it a damper, more stable ride at speed and through chop, along with thicker 2.5mm Impact Edges for added durability — trading a bit of the standard ARV 106's playful lightness for more push-it-hard stability.

Is the ARV 106 Ti stiff enough for aggressive, high-speed skiing?
Yes. With a flex rating of 7 (tip), 8 (waist), and 7 (tail) out of 10, plus the Titanal laminate, it's built to hold up at speed and through variable snow without getting knocked around, while still keeping enough playfulness for trees and side hits.
