Q1: How does Arc'teryx sizing run? Should I size up or down, and will it fit over a base layer?
The latest Sentinel Pant has a modern, women-specific fit designed for freedom of movement. If you've worn an older Sentinel, the fit may feel different. We recommend trying it on in-store with the base layer you plan to wear, and bringing your ski boots if you can, so you can check the waist, leg room, and length over your boots.

Q2: Is this pant warm and waterproof enough for storm days at Big White and SilverStar?
For waterproofing, yes. The 3-layer GORE-TEX ePE construction is waterproof, windproof, and breathable, which makes it well suited to deep, wind-driven storm days. For warmth, keep in mind it's a shell pant, not an insulated one. On cold lift-served days, a warmer base layer underneath will keep you comfortable.

Q3: How do I care for GORE-TEX ePE to keep it waterproof and breathable?
For Arc'teryx GORE-TEX ePE shells, close all zippers and fastenings, then machine wash on medium. Wash separately, without fabric softener or bleach, and double rinse. Tumble dry on medium and don't leave it sitting wet. The face fabric on ePE shells can wet out a little faster than on older membranes. This doesn't affect the waterproof membrane itself. A wash and tumble dry restores the DWR. Always check the care label on your pant.
