2026 Trek Fuel EX 9 Eagle 90 Gen 7 – Built to Rip Any Trail
Confident, capable, and ready for aggressive trail riding.
The 2026 Trek Fuel EX 9 Eagle 90 Gen 7 is a trail bike designed to push boundaries and keep up with your most demanding rides. Its Alpha NEXT Platinum aluminum frame strikes the perfect balance of lightweight strength and durability, while the RockShox Lyrik Ultimate fork (150mm) and Deluxe Ultimate RC2T shock (145mm) provide plush, adjustable suspension for technical climbs and rowdy descents.
A SRAM Eagle 90 transmission delivers smooth, reliable shifting under load, so you can power through climbs without hesitation. When the trail points down, SRAM Maven Bronze 4-piston hydraulic brakes offer unmatched stopping power, giving you the confidence to ride faster and harder with total control. Whether you’re charging steep lines, ripping descents, or exploring new terrain, the Fuel EX 9 is the all-mountain machine that’s ready for it all.

KEY FEATURES |
Adapt, rip, repeat - Only you can define your perfect trail bike — that's why Fuel is available in three adjustability-packed configurations. Get do-it-all capability with EX, go pop-happy with MX, or charge through it all with LX. Adjustable leverage rate - Want more bottom-out resistance without giving up small-bump sensitivity? Flip the chip in the lower shock mount for a more progressive leverage rate. Zero stack integrated headset - With a ZS standard headset, you've got tons of options for aftermarket upgrades, including angle adjust or anodized colors. Storage Accessory Mount - Stash ride essentials with in-frame storage on all Fuel models — both carbon and alloy. Plus, top tube accessory mounts let you load up even more. Fresh frame design - Fuel's new frame gives you tons of room for long dropper posts, bigger shocks, frame bags, and more. Active Braking Pivot - Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most. Transition to Transmission - SRAM Eagle T-Type transmission mounts directly to the frame, skipping that pesky derailleur hanger of yesteryear. This makes for a more robust system that's not only cleaner looking, it's also more precise under load, and easier to set up. |
