Product details

The Mach1 120 MV may not be the the flagship boot in Tecnica's line but it sure as hell skis and fits like one.  We can't say enough positive things about how well this shell fits and that's coming from a group with pretty different feet; insteps, ankles, bunyans etc. If you are looking for a boot that can steer even a large quiver of skis ranging from powder, beer league race skis, all-mountain or carving skis the Mach1 120 MV has you covered -- provided you don't have a super narrow feet. If you have a mid-wide foot and want maximum foot retention this is a solid choice and one that you won't be disappointed in.

FIT

Last: 100 mm – A mid-volume last designed for average feet.

C.A.S. Shell – The C.A.S. shell has an anatomical shape that matches the foot shape. This allows for a better out-of-the-box fit. Dimples on the shell reduce surface tension and facilitate the thermo customization process, making it easier for a bootfitter to modify the shell to fit your foot.

C.A.S. Tongue – The C.A.S. Tongue can be thermoformed in a few minutes to perfectly match the shape of your shin.

FLEX

Flex: 120 – A stiff flex for expert or heavier skiers who require quick rebound and ski response.

T-Drive Technology – T-Drive technology provides a progressive flex regardless of the temperature, keeping the shape unchanged which provides a more consistent fit. T-Drive also creates a stronger and more effective connection between the cuff and the shell that supports the boot flex, avoids plastic deformation, and increases precision and power.

LINER

Performance C.A.S. Liner – C.A.S. liners are anatomically shaped for optimal comfort and great heel hold. The dual density micro-cell material is durable, easy to customize, and has a low pack-out rate maintaining a great fit over a longer period of time. For unmatched personal customization the C.A.S. liner can be thermo-molded, punched, and ground.

Celliant® Insulation – Celliant is powered by 13 thermoreactive minerals that convert body heat into infrared energy. Infrared penetrates deep into the tissue to increase circulation, oxygen and blood flow. This results in improved performance, thermal regulation and faster recovery.

Adjustable Floating Tongue
